Quality Childcare Since 1968
Hilltop Child and Family Development Center has transformed the lives of children and families across the St. Louis community for generations. The center first operated in Wellston near Washington University in order to provide community members quality childcare.
As the needs of area families grew, Hilltop had the opportunity to expand. In 1977, the Roosevelt Federal Savings and Loan building at 6155 West Florissant was purchased and remodeled to meet current child care standards. The building was expanded and renovated again in 2003. In 2016, Hilltop expanded services to include Early Head Start. The site now features seven classrooms, including two infant/toddler rooms, and space for additional support services.
